Photo frame sizes and prices in Nigeria (2026)
You've found the photo. Now: what size, which frame, and what should it cost? Here are the answers, with real prices and no trip to a framing shop.

Frame sizes and prices
Sizes are in inches, and every price includes printing your photo and the frame. These are our live prices, the same ones you see in the editor and at checkout.

Will my photo be sharp at that size?
Bigger frames need bigger photos. A photo straight from a modern phone camera is big enough for every size we print. Trouble usually starts with photos that have been forwarded or screenshotted. Here is the smallest photo that still prints sharply at each size:

Got the photo on WhatsApp? WhatsApp shrinks photos when it sends them. Ask for it to be sent as a document instead, or get the original. You don't have to work any of this out yourself: our editor warns you if a photo is too small for the size you pick.
Why some sizes crop more of your photo
Frames come in different shapes, not just different sizes. A phone photo is a 3:4 rectangle, so it fits a 12×16 almost perfectly. A 5×7 or 8×10 is a squarer shape, so a little is trimmed from the top and bottom. The editor shows you exactly what will be cropped, and you can drag the photo to sit just right before you pay.
Oak, black or white? Mat or no mat?
- Oak is warm and flatters skin tones, gold and lace. A favourite for aso-ebi and wedding photos.
- Black is sharp and formal. Good for black-and-white photos and modern rooms.
- White is light and clean. It lets a colourful photo do the talking.
- A mat is the ivory border between photo and frame. It makes a small photo look more finished and gives it room to breathe. Leave it off if you want the photo as large as possible.
Framing shop or online?
A good framing shop lets you touch the moulding before you buy, and that's worth something. But it also means a trip across Lagos, a price that depends on the day, and waiting to find out how it turned out. Online, you see the finished frame on your own photo before you pay, the price is fixed, and it comes to your door. If it ever arrives wrong or damaged, we remake it free.
