This is the reason most photobooks never get made. The best shot of the couple is on a cousin's phone, the one of your mother laughing is on a friend's, and nobody is going to sit and forward two hundred pictures one at a time. So you start the book with the photos you do have, share one link in the group chat, and everyone else sends theirs straight into it. They arrive in a tray beside your own, and you place the ones you want.

You stay in charge of the book
People send photos — they never edit your book. Nothing they send goes onto a page until you put it there, and you can remove anything you'd rather not use. They don't need an account, an app or a password; they tap the link, pick their photos, and they're done. The collect link only takes photos in — nobody can buy anything through it. It's the separate link you use to show the finished book that lets someone order their own copy, and you can switch that off for a link whenever you like.

- How do people send me their photos?
- Start your book with the photos you already have — you need at least 15 to begin — then share the link it gives you straight into a WhatsApp group. Everyone taps it, picks photos from their phone, and those land in a tray beside your own, ready for you to place.
- Do they need an account to send photos?
- No. No account, no app, no password — they open the link, choose their photos and that's it. You'll see who sent what.
- Can other people change my book?
- No. They can send photos, and that's all. You decide which ones go on a page, where they sit, and you can remove any of them.
- Can people who see my book order their own copy?
- Yes — when you share the finished book for people to look at, anyone with that link can order a copy for themselves, which is often the point when everyone helped make it. You can switch that off for a link whenever you want. The link you use to collect photos is a different one, and nothing can be bought through it.
- How much does a group photobook cost?
- The same as any of our photobooks — from ₦52,000. Asking other people for photos doesn't change the price; it's one book, and you're the one ordering it.
